Siri Shortcuts were created at the request of customers wanting to use these shortcuts. The shortcuts allow the user to open and close the garage door after using the statement, “Hey Siri, Open/Close Door”. These options are located in the settings menu for the garage door, in screen 2.3. The screens 2.4 and 2.5 are modeled after Apple’s own requirements for how Siri Shortcuts are to be displayed in app form. After the user has created the shortcut, they will be taken to a screen that will direct them shortcuts in their phone should they need to make any changes to Siri Shortcuts on their personal system.
